Manufacturer Specific Automotive Service Technology – Toyota T-TEN

Atlantic Technical College has been consistently recognized as the top Toyota training program in the country.  This advanced program is an intense training and academic program provided by ATC in partnership with Toyota Motor North America Inc.; Southeast Toyota Distributors; local Toyota and Lexus dealers and Broward College.

Admission Requirements:

    • Provide your contact information at t-ten.com.  It is important to choose Atlantic Technical College as the school.  Check your email for follow-up information.
    • Be 18 Years of age on or before December 31 of the first year of registration.
    • Successful completion of the academic basic skills assessment required placement scores or exemption.
    • Attend an ATC Program Information Session and T-TEN program orientation.
    • Interview with Program Counselor for additional program requirements.
    • Standard High School or High School Equivalency Diploma.

The Manufacturer Specific Automotive Service Technology (Toyota T-TEN) program is specific to Toyota/Lexus products using Toyota/Lexus automotive vehicles, trainers, parts, tools and curriculum materials. Instruction includes practical classroom applications and a paid internship experience at a Toyota/Lexus dealership under the supervision of a Certified Toyota/Lexus Technician and the Program Teacher-Coordinator to achieve factory certification. Instruction also coincides with the eight (8) areas of professional technician certification recognized by the ASE Education Foundation. Today’s technicians must possess advanced skills in math, communications, electronics and the ability to diagnose complex problems.

This program is an intense training program provided by ATC in partnership with Toyota Motor North America Inc.; Southeast Toyota Distributors; and local Toyota and Lexus dealers and Broward College.

Industry Certification & State Credential Exams:

Students will be prepared to take an approved state and/or nationally recognized industry certification or licensure exam in their field of study. Exam costs are additional; however, you may qualify for reimbursement of your exam cost(s) upon passing. See your program counselor/advisor for more information.

College Credit Transfer Opportunity and/or Advanced Standing:

Upon completion of the program, you may be eligible to receive FREE associate degree transfer credits from Broward College or another state college.
