Atlantic Technical College provides free and confidential social work services to all students. The services are offered to assist students with personal challenges that may interfere with their academic goals.
The following services are provided:
- Short-term counseling

Crisis Numbers

The National Sexual Assault Telephone Hotline – Call 800.656.HOPE (4673) to be connected with a trained staff member from a sexual assault service provider in your area.

Substance Abuse & Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA)
The IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program offers FREE basic tax return preparation for individuals who qualify. These IRS certified volunteers help prepare tax returns and provide tax counseling to:
- People with incomes $58,000 or less
- People with disabilities
- Limited English-speaking taxpayers
